Programs
Master Barber
The Master Barber Program includes Haircutting, Razor Design Techniques, Brow Shaping, Chemicals, Color, Man Weaves and Enhancement. The curriculum is for students in a school of barbering for a complete course of at least nine (9) Months totaling fifteen hundred (1500) hours of training in barbering technique, including chemicals.
Barber II
The Barber II Program includes Haircutting, Razor Design Techniques, Brow Shaping, Color Enhancements, Man Weaves and Enhancement. The curriculum is for students in a school of barbering for a complete course of at least nine (9) Months totaling twelve hundred and fifty(1250) hours of training in barbering technique, but excluding all chemicals.
Cosmetology Cross-over to Master Barber
The Cosmetology-Crossover Program Allows Master Cosmetologist to obtain their Master Barber license by completing a 300 hour comprehensive program that includes those portions of the barber license not covered in their cosmetology license. This includes Clipper Cutting education and maintenance, Razor Design with straight razor shaving , and hair replacement and enhancement techniques.
Master Barber Instructor
The Master Barber Instructor Program is designed to demonstrate to Master Barbers how to instruct using the techniques found in the Master Educator Textbook and from their own industry experience. It is a great program for those who have been in the industry for several years and now want to mentor to new industry professionals.
Apprenticeship Assistance
This program is to assist Master Barbers who have an apprentice, that need assistance recording and submitting their hours to state board or who need assistance with the theory portion of the apprenticeship and with Theory testing. This allows Apprentice to stay in the shop and still get the theory they will need for state board. This is a continuing education program and GBI does not give the apprentice hours they still have to complete their 3000 hrs with their chosen Master Barber.
Continuing Education for Personal Services
GBI is an Approved Provider with the NCBTMB, to provide Continuing Education to Massage Therapist and also provides continuing education for personal services providers. The facility can also accommodate other continuing education providers for personal service educators. The provider would only need to call the facility to check availability.

Pearson Vue Library of Test
Pearson Vue is a secured testing site provider. They offer a wide variety of proctored test. GBI provides a comfortable test space so that test takers have the ability to concentrate on passing the most important test of their lives and successfully proceeding to their next level.
